DATA ACQUISITION SYSTEMS
Durham Instruments distributes and integrates high-quality instrumentation and data acquisition products for measuring force, pressure, acceleration, position, strain, slope/tilt, temperature, torque, and parts gauging. Products and services include data acquisition systems; instrumentation for measurement, data logger, control; integrated software systems; load cells; press force monitoring and analysis equipment; programmable controllers, computers, software and data-acquisition devices; quality control; sensors; software development; spring probes; test, measurement, calibration and motion analysis equipment; tightening and press fit; transducers; and ultrasonic sensors. HBM has specialized in measurement technology and data acquisition systems for over 50 years. Our range covers the entire measurement and testing system, from strain gages and sensors, via the measuring instruments, right through to the software for acquiring and analyzing data. HBM's catmanŽ provides you with a flexible and powerful software platform for capturing, displaying, analyzing and documenting your measurement data.
The MSL DataWeb 4000 series brings a flexible new approach to remote asset monitoring and data acquisition systems, combining advanced communication methods and accurate measurement into a highly affordable package requiring minimum set up.
catmanŽ Enterprise is a catmanŽ based application for measurement acquisition in large systems consisting of up to 10,000 channels. The powerful catmanŽ Enterprise software handles amplifier settings, automatically checks all strain gage channels, and deals with the setup routines for measurement and data acquisition systems. Clients are connected to the server over a network. They can access the server's database, view the measurement run online and analyze measured values both graphically and mathematically.
The wide measurement frequency range and the digital filter adjust-able over a range of steps enables the best adaptation to the measurement problem. Apart from the actual amplifier function, two minimum/maximum stores and four limit switches with PLC-compatible outputs are available. The measurement output can be provided through a freely scaleable analogue output and via the serial RS232C interface. Freely programmable control inputs and outputs facilitate trouble-free communications with automated data acquisition systems.
Datascan Distributed I/O Systems are modular data acqusition systems that uses a microprocessor based controller linked to a series of I/O modules to provide distributed real-time global data supply. The controller is linked to the process control PC that is running real-time software that provides a graphical user interface. Ease of set up, expandability and low system cost are indeed highlights.
The unique feature of Datascan Distributed I/O data acquisition systems is that it is software configurable for maximum utility in accepting a wide variety of sensor inputs. I/O modules support a certain grouping of inputs and each sensor input is programmed on a per channel basis. This design is ideal for applications where sensor inputs are not yet confirmed when the system is ordered, multiple set ups are needed (laboratory) as well maintenance support is simplified.
Test programs can be flexibly combined due to the 100 % computer control capacity via the RS232C, RS422/485 or IEEE488 interfaces. Test reports with sophisticated designs can be created in conjunction with the HBM software catman¨ for MS-Windows. The amplifier set-up, data acquisition systems and the display and documentation of the measurements are standard functions for catman. A powerful macro language is available for application-specific measurement sequences.
